Costarican electrotango and trip hop band Nottango recently communicated that their two albums are now available for download on Bandcamp.
The band is currently on a hiatus, as their members are currently working on other projects, but since all the physical copies of the albums are already sold, they decided to release the digital. Nottango appeared first on 2010, with their debut album “La Sala Del Tango“. The production of this album took a year, and included deep instrumentation, and rap and samples of voice figures as Salvador Allende.
The final mix was sent to England for mastering process and was conducted by Rik Dowding, renowned mastering engineer for bands like Portishead and the XX.
Second album “Hasta que caiga el ultimo” took the band to another direction mixing electronic trip hop and jazz with latin ethnic rhythms.
Fans can name a price for albums. It means you can download it for free, or pay any money amount you think the album is worth.
