This is an special playlist for the week: Only the best examples of trip hop/downtempo/hip hop made on Latin American soil, by Latin America people.

First, Argentinian singer Natalia Clavier appears twice on the list. She is one of Thievery Corporation’s main voices. Next, more Argentinian flavor: Baridi Baridi (formerly The Ice Fox), Darkside and Lendi Vexer

Venezuela takes part of the list with Sur Carabela. Colombia does so with Si*Se, Las hermanas, Pacha Massive.

From Chile: Leche, from Peru, Elsiane, and from Panama the amazing Señor Loop.

Mexican artists Renobeats, Eli Guerra and Control Machete, represents the North Part of the Latinos.

The cherry on the top: a remix made by Bomba Estereo for Gotan Project. This is not trip hop, is a cumbia, but Gotan is always considered part of the family.

I wanted to add at least one band from every country, but I was not able to find something even from Costa Rica on Spotify. Missing all Central America on this loop, but keep an eye on another deliver soon!

Remember to follow the list to get your weekly dose, and to follow and support your favorite artists, so they can keep producing awesome music!

Your recomendations?

I will appreciate any recomendation to add to the lists. Post a comment or fill the submit music form! And if you want to hear some trip hop live, I will be playing Wednesday Jul 6th on El Sotano, at San Jose, Costa Rica.
